Kangertech OCC Replacement Coils (5 Pack)
Kangertech OCC coils are the original coils included with the first version of the Subtank, and Subtank Mini V1. They have a single coil inside and are recommended for wattages ranging from 12 – 60 Watts depending on the resistance of the coil that you have. The Kanger Subtank uses very low, sub-ohm resistance coils which can be dangerous to use if you do not have the right equipment. Kanger Subtanks will only work on Mod’s with a battery capable of a minimum of 30 watts. Before use please make sure that your Mod and Batteries can handle sub-ohm coils. If you’re using a mechanical mod, please use 30 amp batteries or higher. To be sure, always use an ohms calculator and check your amps.
There are lots of mods that are not capable of firing sub-ohm coils so please always check your mod specifications before selecting a 0.5 ohm resistance coil.
Grommet Colour :
The grommet is the little rubber ring near the bottom pin of the coil. These 0.5 Ohm & 1.2 Ohm OCC’s have RED Grommet’s. The Temperature control 0.15 Ohm Ni200 Nickel Subtank Coils have BLUE Grommets.

Tip for new users :
We strongly suggest using an e-liquid of 6mg or lower with Sub-Ohm coils. Sub-ohm coils produce a stronger throat hit than low and standard resistance atomizers. Using this atomizer with a higher nicotine level over 6mg will usually taste strong, harsh or even burnt.
Safety Notice :
Sub-Ohm tanks and coils must be used by experienced and knowledgeable users as additional safety precautions must be practiced when using these items. These products need to work on a mod/battery capable of firing at sub-Ohm resistances. So, for example, if you have a 0.5 Ohm coil in your tank, your mod/battery must be capable of firing at 0.5 Ohm resistance, or lower. You also need to ensure your device can cope with the amps. Improper use can lead to physical injury and damaged equipment.
